Genio Mobile - Getting Started Step 1 - Create Your Event

⚠️ Note: This guide applies strictly to the Legacy Mobile App. If you are using the new Genio Notes app, the interface and steps will now match the main web app.

You can get started with Genio in a couple of taps.  

Follow the steps below to master the basics. 

  1. Create an Event

    Click New Event to start using Genio:

    An Event is where you’ll record audio and make your notes.

  2. Give your event a title (or leave it blank)

  3. Start Recording

The Workspace

The Mobile Event workspace has 2 key components, and works a little bit like a messaging app:

Feed - where your text notes will get added.

Input Controls - where you select Labels and input text.
Next - Step 2 - Add Headings
