Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) - UK students only

N.B. This article is for UK students who get access to Genio through the Disabled Student Allowance (DSA).

Your chosen equipment supplier will send you a Licence Key to use Genio Notes and/or Genio Present (If you have both then you'll get two separate Licences).

Data Protection


Your Genio account is linked to your email address. Only you can manage your account, and we will only help with account details when you contact us from that email address.


Your DSA Equipment Supplier does not have access to any of your Genio data. They cannot access the audio that you have recorded or see any of your notes.


Your Equipment supplier does not see any of the usage statistics that our College and University customers see.


When your DSA access comes to an end, you will lose the ability to create new Events. You'll have read-only access for a short time and then have up to 12 months to set up a personal subscription to regain full access to Genio and all your Events.
