Updating SSO from Glean to Genio

Our SSO configuration currently uses our old Glean domain; this will stop working on May 28th 2026 so you will have to update your configuration to our new Genio domain.


For most accounts you will be able to make the switch yourself, through our Admin Portal (see below).

If you do not see the option to 'Edit SSO' then you will have to contact support@genio.co to go through the migration.

Important - Our new SSO configuration is limited to SAML only. Please contact support@genio.co if you use something else, and cannot switch to SAML.


How To Update SSO


  1. Sign into your Admin Portal at https://app.genio.co/admin
  2. Click the Account icon in the bottom left
  3. Select 'Edit SSO Configuration'

If you do not have the Edit SSO option then please contact support@genio.co

  1. Click the Start Switch button - Our new metadata, using Genio, will be shown on screen

  1. In your IDP, either edit your existing configuration or create a new one (SAML only) using our new Genio Metadata
  2. Back in Genio Admin, add your new metadata URL from your IDP and import
  3. Save Changes
  4. Test the sign in by visiting app.genio.co and using SSO to sign into a valid Genio account
