Merge Accounts

You can now merge one Genio account into another, consolidating the content you've created in one place.

This is useful if you've signed up for a trial account, and also accepted a Genio invite from an organisation; leaving you with two accounts under separate email addresses.

Important - The account you've merged your data from will be deleted once you've merged the accounts.

Info - If you're merging your personal Genio subscription into an organisational account, you'll first need to cancel your personal subscription so that we don't continue to charge you for it.

Please email support@genio.co from the email address linked to your personal subscription. The merge will be blocked unless your personal subscription is cancelled.

To merge one account into another, follow the steps below

  1. Sign in to the Genio Notes account that you want to keep
  2. Click the burger menu (three lines) in the top right
  3. Expand the Account section
  4. Click you name

  1. Check your inbox for the email and complete the final part of the merge. It is recommended to use the same device you used to request the merge, when completing the final step.

Info - If your merge fails for any reason then reach out to support@genio.co and we'll be able to assist you.
