Is Genio accessible?
Our vision is to make Genio accessible to as many people as possible.
This is an ongoing process, and this article covers where we are at right now.
We're designing for you, so we always want to know how you think Genio can be more accessible.
To share your feedback, or get more information, please email us on support@genio.co, or use the Get in touch link via the Genio main menu.
Topics in this article:
Is Genio WCAG compliant?
Genio’s products and services are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (USA). Partially conformant means that some aspects of the content don't fully comply with the accessibility standard. For more on our commitment to accessibility, please see our Accessibility Statement https://genio.co/accessibility-statement/
Screen reader support
Genio is regularly tested with screen readers to ensure compatibility.
We are committed to making our web and mobile apps as accessible as possible and conduct comprehensive testing to achieve a high degree of compatibility with screen readers such as TalkBack, VoiceOver, and JAWS.
Our aim is to ensure screen reader users have a comparable experience of Genio to visual users.
This is an ongoing process, and occasionally some issues slip past us in testing.
Please note that Genio uses single character shortcuts, which may conflict with screen reader shortcuts. You can disable these by opening your Account Menu, selecting Preferences and turning off the Keyboard Shortcuts option.
If you do notice any issues or have any suggestions for improvement then we would love to hear from you, we are always trying to improve Genio for everybody.
